Mabvuku has had a few artists that it has given us from the past years and now it has also given birth to yet new breed of artists but there is one particular artist I want to focus on. The 2015-16 and 2016-17 M.B.U best male respectively and wining the most featured award in the 2017-18 awards and also his ep (The Uchiha D.E.M.O) got the award for best album the same year. The Ep had songs which had a fair amount of airplay on radio stations had a successful launch in Mabvuku which attracted big people like the Zimhiphop award winning best promoter, Preezo and ZimHiphop award winning producer, Take Fizzo, with other big names in the industry which are the likes of Tehn Diamond, Jnr Brown, Tulk Munny, Mc Chitah and then there was a suprise act from the NAMA Award winner Ammara Brown who took part in gracing the event which attracted a large crowd unexpected for a hiphop event putting M.B.U (Mabvuku) on Zimhiphop radar. He then also dropped a back to back ep with King Uc another M.B.U local rapper which he said it was an apology, like a sorry for the wait for his long awaited 33 track mixtape, The Uchiha Treehill, but after that he went quiet and dropped off the grid, having all of his social accounts deleted..
Now after a while off the Savior as it seems is back with another club banger which was officially launched on ZiFM stereo “Fundreezy ft King Uc – Mare” which I have to say got the people and crowds riled up. This song though is not just a turn up or club banger but has a deeper concept which he addresses social conflicts with money, I mean this guy is literally talking with money, I have to admit I loved the song and the concept.
This guy is a street rapper and im not suprised by this other track his dropping called ‘King Pusha’ which is more street than commercial as its a little bit weird than the Fundreezy we know
Now last but not least the other single he is dropping is called bonzo rangu which I might say is inspired by the Zvamagaya hit maker Double Jae’s Dream Chasers. This track bonzo rangu Fundreezy is talking to God and to the fans if I may dare to say unlike his other 2 songs this one is an emotional rollercoaster as it takes through his life’s experiences and hardships in his musical journey so intense it reaches to touch your emotions, zvekuti iri rikasakubata iii hameno.
So with these 3 songs I think the M.B.U Savior is back with this tripple threat. I heard Uchiha Empire Clan is adding finishing touches to his back to back mixtape with King Uc called ‘Trapped’ set to drop late September.
